The year is 1970 and independence brings to an end British colonial rule in the small East African State of Gondwanaland.
The winds of change blowing through Africa lead to the build up for independence and the birth of a new nation. The election is stolen – the newly elected Prime Minister cunningly declares himself President for Life – whilst exploiting the naiveté of donor countries – in order to enrich himself.
From the colonial dominated golf club to the Asian traders and indigenous African people the story of modern-day Africa is told. Gondwanaland gradually sinks into the quagmire of a one-party corrupt African state until an ingenious plot emerges to depose the despot and offer fresh hope to its people for the future.
It could be Kenya – Tanzania – Zambia – Uganda or… Zimbabwe?
